The club was founded on November 24th , 2000

This club is founded in Aleksinac, one of the worst towns I ever saw. I live here for two decades, so I know. It is not really great place for an Irish club.But this Irish club is a good way to introduce some culture to this "dirty old" town.

Aleksinac is based in the east-south part of Serbia. The people would think that it is hard to say that anyone here will understand this Irish club, and they are right! Still there are more than few people interested in this club.

At the moment we do not have any space where we could establish this club, but we are doing this from our hearts and this problem will not stop us.

The idea (of making the club) came to us in the evenings on 4.& 5. October. On the 5. October Sloba Milosevic finally came down!

The conclusion:

When dictators fall down, good ideas are taking birth.
